"Good gods, we'd never hear the end of it." Neville didn't think it was possible for his ears to get any redder, but.. they did. "I had my suspicions... I suppose I should watch myself or she might petrify me next time I stumble on a hive of yellow jackets." He winced, not wanting to have that happen again.
"Peach daquiri it is." They walked over to the bar with Neville still scanning the room, making sure he really didn't look too out of place. He ordered for them both and when their drinks were ready, he left a ten pound note on the bar. Everyone there seemed in a good mood, catching snippets of people making plans and talking about the news in London. He breathed a heavy sigh and was glad that he felt lighter as he exhaled, letting go of all his worries that were in another world entirely.
"How about we find a seat and you can tell me about the camp. I'm sorry Frankie isn't attending." Neville bit his lip and carried his pint carefully, not wanting to spill. "I tend to get selfish over the summer... I don't get to see him everyday like I do when he's at the school."
