"In the muggles' case yes, in your case, I think the bloke is in for a surprise if you get too happy and feel the need to help him." Neville joked along and accepted Ari's guiding arm with a smile.
Only nodding when she repeated 'Patient', he hoped he wasn't asking too much, or being too vague. He grinned though and looked at her as they walked along. "I meant other dates."
They continued down the street, in the direction that Ariana nodded and Neville tried to piece together his thoughts into sentences. "I was never really good at dating, really... very shy. And I'm assuming a lot has changed since I was... dating that is." And still shy, though that was evident as he stared at his loafers on the sidewalk. "Let's just... have a good time, and we'll see where it takes us." He beamed at her to let her know that he already was having a good time and feeling more comfortable now that some things had been fleshed out.
"One thing is for sure, I'm guaranteed some kind of adventure when you're around. Hopefully I won't be too much of a ... well, as Minerva would call me, a 'fuddy-duddy'." Neville felt himself getting steered toward a building and then a door, which he held open for Ari and tried not to blush like a teenager.
