"No one's going to take him," Atlas said. "I guarantee that he's sitting in front of my door right now. And if someone tried to take him. . . he wouldn't let them. I'd go let him in, but something tells me you wouldn't allow me back in here if I did."
He chuckled slightly when she called him stubborn. "I thought you like that about me," he said. "Being stubborn, at least in the beginning."
Scooting over, he made more room for her. "Come sit down," he said. "You look tired."
