The sky around them was becoming less dark. Pink light turning slowly to a peachy gold. Minerva's face paled, making her cheekbones stand out and look gaunt.
She had to get inside. She knew she wouldn't die from the sun immediately, but she had no desire to suffer third degree burns either.
"Nothing's wrong, I'm just tired so please let me go!" she said, trying to move away.
A sliver of sunlight found its way over one of the rooftops, beaming over them and Minerva cried out, crouching down to avoid it. "Let go, please! I have to go!"
