She spun around, her heart skipping a beat and then it was Atlas in her vision and Minerva exhaled a breath.
"Gods, you took me for a turn there," she admitted, putting her hand to her heart. Of course, it was beating slower than normal despite the small shock. That was something she was still trying to get used to.
Octavius bounded towards her and Minerva put her hands up, but the happy dog jumped up on her, his paws to her shoulders. "Oc, down!" Minerva called out, trying to push the dog down but he was so excited and it wasn't until Atlas pulled the dog back that Octavius got back onto all four feet.
"It's okay. He's just excited is all," Minerva said, brushing the front of her jacket. She bent down and scratched Oc's head. "Hey there sweetie. You were just excited weren't you?" she cooed at the dog, smiling.
"Well...I'm just getting home and you look like you're going out for a run or whatever. Have a good one," Minerva said, then turned around.
