Gellert was just about to ask Mac out on a date when he felt his body go rigid. Uh oh. What was that counter charm again? Oh well, might as well enjoy the peace of not having to do anything. Ah, mittens. Lovely mittens. I shall knit three of you, two will be worn and one will be destroyed for being inferior. The two chosen ones will watch the destruction, of course, so they know what awaits their fate should they, too, become inferior.
Then there was that all still too unfamiliar darkness and being squeezed through the fabric of space. And he was in another wintry setting. Good thing his warming charm still worked. Otherwise he would need to knit those mittens really fast.
He stared at his accuser. There was something familiar about the way he looked. Like he needed a good laxative. And then Albus appeared. To the rescue as always. His knight in beautiful robes. He winked at Albus. The tracking charm had worked after all. This was a good result then.
Grindelwald stood up casting some cleaning charms to get the dirt off his robes. "Or you think he was polyjuiced," Gellert sneered. "And don't flatter Tommy Boy. There's no way he has good enough tastes to hit on someone of Mac's fine looks. No, I'd imagine his type would be someone in need of a fine, lily-scented shampoo."
Grindelwald chuckled. "But well played, sir, well played." Then he turned to Albus. "And I can handle myself, thank you very much. I had the whole situation under control. I was only pretending to be petrified."
"Speaking of polyjuice," he muttered under his breath. "If you had made it right, there would've been nothing to see. I'll just have to make it myself next time. For the love of a decent Potions Master."
Grindelwald rubbed his hands together and licked his lips while Snape disapparated. "Now, if you'll excuse me, Albus. I'd like to return to the party. I was having quite a bit of fun before Severus whisked me away. I'll have to send him some mittens so as to convey there are no hard feelings. Poor bloke. He must be a few knuts short of a galleon."
