"I'm fine," he said, reassuring Dylan at first, and then thanking his father.
He nodded toward the trees. "He was there, but I'm sure he's gone." He turned to his father. "I saw him pull his wand out and almost kill someone, Dad. That's not bait; that's murder. I tried following... I wasn't even sure it was him at first, and I looked, and I think he can make himself invisible. There's no other explanation."
He snorted. "Dad, it's sort of impossible not to play his games when he can appear and disappear at will. He could have killed anyone; he could have killed me if he wanted, but he didn't. He was playing."
