"I didn't ask many questions, but I think he was looking for a fight. I'm just glad he didn't go up against another werewolf. Ronan says those rarely end well." He thought back to when Ronan had been injured, and how that had ended. "I'm sure he's going to be around, I'll make sure to introduce you two." He nodded, and waved away the apology. "I knew you needed the rest, and had Patrick to look after you."
Ben nodded, wishing that things had worked out differently. "But it's good that Min was honest, and told Atlas she couldn't give him what he wanted. Things would have been far worse otherwise." Of that, he was certain.
He wondered if that meant that Ronan could smell him as well, and thought it likely. They hadn't really ever talked about that, but it gave him a thrill to know that Ronan would always know where he was if they were in the same area.
"Well, you have to work out what works for you, both of you," he said. It was something that Ronan had said once, that every wolf was different. "You're always welcome with us as well. I'm sure my mum's going to have a big dinner."
