Dylan thought about it, and yeah, in a way she was right. "True, and I'd make a kick arse dad," he said with a grin. "Not that I'm likely to ever have any, I don't do relationships very well." He frowned. "I rather sucked at it actually," he said with a laugh. That didn't mean he didn't want one though, eventually, just that he knew better than to hope for what wasn't ever going to come.
"Not all of us, no," he said. "Me and Jamie and Craig, yeah of course, but Ben, Al, Dale, they were all in different houses. Al who is a Ravenclaw is best friends with Scorpius who is a Slytherin." He shrugged his shoulders. "There are those who keep it up, like my uncle who disinherited Cass because his mum was a Muggle, but with the younger generation there is much less of it."
He smiled. "So question, how many of those you met in school are you still friends with?" he asked. "How many of them socialise over class boundaries once uni is over? Because I can't see I saw many middle class or upper class people around my neighbourhood growing up," he said with a grin. "Let's face it, Muggle, wizarding, doesn't matter, just different distinctions but the lines are still there all the same."
He chuckled. "I'm sure half of them were staring because you're gorgeous and the other half are idiots like my uncle. Some are probably just curious as well." He shot her a rather cocky grin. "Of course they're better, they're friends, and we don't socialise with idiots," he finished with wink.
