"I love him more than anything and I'd do anything for him," she told Dylan, feeling sympathy as Dylan told her about his own mother. "Do you think your mother did it because she thought your dad could give you a better life, being a wizard and all?"
Allison shook his head. "No, Toby isn't his. Toby was not meant to come halfway through my degree but... It's the best decision I made. To have him and still get my law degree," she explained. "Joe and I met not long after his birth and I want him here to but... He wouldn't understand why I can't go back. Joe's the kind of guy that thinks he can protect everybody."
"Seriously? The parents have no involvement? At Toby's school we do autumn and Christmas fairs to raise money for the school and other charities. We have social evenings for the parents so they get to know each other and of course, there's parents evening where you find out how your children are doing from each of their teachers... There's none of that?" she asked, frowning. "What- They just expect to send their children and hear nothing till the next July?"
Her interest piqued at the name of another Weasley. "Is his wife Audrey by any chance? I've heard about her," she said. "The Muggle sense of democracy needs a little work but you're right, your system does suck slightly. There seems to be absolutely no democracy for a start."
