"I don't know what's going to happen yet," she said quietly. "James said- I might not be able to go back but if I can't then I need Toby. I can't have him growing up thinking I'm dead or that I abandoned him. I'd rather risk my own life and go back."
She frowned, furrowing her brow. "But why can't their parents come? It's not like they don't know about magic and they wouldn't cause any harm, surely? I'm not," she pointed out. "And it would help Muggleborns and their parents to see wizarding culture. Do the parents interact much at Hogwarts? Have a PTA- Er, parent-teacher association? Which everybody can join?"
Allison shook her head, not thinking it would be a huge deal. No more difficult than arranging any other school trip. "I don't see why. Surely they can make those... Port-somethings, like I had from James's father. They could bring them all here and take them all back, couldn't they?"
She shrugged, unsure. Allison was quiet as she looked out at the park for a long minute. "Honestly... Anything. If I can't get a job like I already have then I need something, my mind wanders when I'm not occupied. I keep thinking... More Muggles should know about you, at least in professions where we can help each other. Our police system is well-evolved and we have so many things that you don't have. And in return, you can trace people by magic- So many unsolved crimes could be solved quickly. Do you think it would be possible?"
