"I just wanted to tell Harry." Sirius reminded James, "I was perfectly fine lying to everyone else." Though there was little to be done about it now, and he found he liked not having to hide this, especially now. Yes his nose was definitely still sore, a fact made more apparent when James touched his nose, but he'd live in any case. "It was a close thing," He assured James. "And I think if we hadn't been rushed the way we were things could have very easily gotten out of hand." But he shrugged. "At least this way I can't be blamed for it."
"I should have." He agreed with a small laugh, "Got carried away with myself for a minute there." He grinned though when James suggested he take advantage of him later that night. "I'm sure that can be arranged quite easily."
Sirius chuckled lightly but moved his hand sliding back to James' hip. "I could think of worse things, but considering there is family about I can try and behave." He nodded, leaving on a better note was probably a good idea. "Yes, I think it's getting to be about that time."
