"I'm laughing at the idea that Jamie didn't have anything to do with this," he said. "Really, have you spoken to your godson lately? The young man who decided running after Voldemort was a good idea and was prepared to do it regardless of what people thought until finally being forced to realise that Voldemort didn't want any deals?"
He smiled. "Look, Jamie knows what he wants, and he's not letting anyone push him anywhere he doesn't want to go. I wouldn't be surprised if this was his suggestion from the start. Regardless, if this makes him happy- I can't wish for my son to find anything more than someone he can learn to love, who'll love him in return. And maybe this won't be that, but right now it seems to be heading in that direction."
"I can't mind that. Besides, the situation is ridiculously complex and I've decided that it's better to just view it was two young men in their twenties finding each other. Mixing in him being my godfather just makes things messier than they have to be."
"They really do care about each other, Ron. That's all that matters to me."
