She licked her lips before answering, her mouth going dry. Minerva reached for the club soda that she had open behind the bar and took a sip.
"Surviving. I quit the wand shop, so I'm looking for a new job. Wands just weren't my thing after all," she told Atlas, a lame excuse but she wasn't about to tell him the real reason why she had to quit.
"In the meantime, just been helping my mother out and the same old."
She took another sip of her club soda.
"I see you had a rough full moon. That's too bad." Minerva was really wanting to say that she was sorry, but then that might mean sorry for more things that she was for.
