"You've been warned then," she told Gideon, her voice light and she grinned when he leaned in.
"Good. Otherwise I'd have to make you leave and you look like you're comfortable where you are."
She put her hands on the back of the chair, and when she looked at Gideon again - something happened that she had been told might. Minerva suddenly felt the rush of her vampiric hunger, which caused her new teeth to come down slowly from her gums.
Minerva turned and walked to the bar. "Sure, sounds lovely! Just - find whatever you need. I'll be out in a mo'," she told Gideon, then went into the back.
Her hands shook as she found the pig's blood that she had taken earlier in the night, nearly spilling it out of its container when she poured it into a glass. Minerva didn't bother to warm it up, but downed it - drinking the thick liquid until it was gone and then collapsed into a chair.
She willed her teeth to retract. For her hands to stop shaking. It seemed like forever, but only took minutes before she felt normal again.
When she returned out to sit with Gideon, her colour was back into her cheeks and her lips red and full. "Sorry, forgot I had to do something before closing up for the night."
