Gideon laughed. "I'm not worried about you," he said, biting his tongue to keep Princess from slipping through. He leaned forward, both arms on the table, looking at her.
"I don't mind," he said, then shrugged. He'd been hoping for an invite back to her place for drinks, but this worked, too. He pushed a chair out with his foot.
"I'll even make you one, as long as the bar's not hexed. Bloody Mary?" He dropped her a wink and a grin.
