Raising an eyebrow, Minerva took a look around and decided she could chance having a sit down to talk with Gideon.
She sat, resting her elbows on the table and her chin on her palms as she listened and watched him eat.
Then it became very clear why he was older than he looked and that he didn't know her mum.
"You're one of the returning dead, aren't you?" Minerva murmured, understanding. "Yeah, my mother bought the place from Tom before he passed on. She's been running it since. I grew up mostly above the Leaky when I wasn't visiting my father. My parents split when I was young."
Minerva crossed her legs, her foot jiggling under the table. "Must be so weird for you," she said, sympathetically. Minerva then smirked.
"No, I'm not Mrs. Anybody. No ring, yeah?" She flashed her left hand, dangling her fingers briefly.
"Actually, it's Longbottom. Neville Longbottom's my father and you probably don't know him either. But, he's the headmaster at Hogwarts and helped to kill Voldemort in the last battle. Oh, but you were dead before then too. Sorry."
