Gideon raised an eyebrow at her bit of tirade, then picked up the glass. "I mentioned it," he said, taking a sip, "because I recognised you, and I'd wondered if you were okay, and I was actually sort of glad to see that you were."
He took a long drink, then set the glass on the bar. "And you have no idea who I am, or what I'm about, because if you did, you wouldn't have bothered to tell me to keep my mouth shut. You'd know that I do."
He chuckled again, amused, and pulled out a Galleon, then dug for another and tossed them both onto the bar. "For me and the next guy, then." He picked up his gloves and his glass and headed for the empty table in the corner.
