Gideon leaned both forearms on the bar. "I'm older than I look," he said with a shrug, then met her eyes.
"You do." He glanced over the patrons at the bar, but the two stools next to him were empty. It was obvious that she didn't remember much about it, but it wasn't anyone else's business either.
