He smirked at the term of endearment that Jasper used on him. Their relationship was still in the new, getting a shag in whenever you can phase - and Oliver hadn't gone further than to call Jasper by his nickname, Jazz.
The 'rather be alone' part of Jasper's letter, however, didn't sit well with Oliver. It didn't feel like a rejection, but it still stung a bit that Jasper didn't want him around.
Something niggled in the back of Oliver's mind, causing him to write back the following reply:
Jazz,
No dice. I know you're still trying to deal with the effects of the full moon - but I've been worried enough for the past twenty-four hours.
