"Okay, so not Sirius and Craig," he pointed slowly. He would have been almost a little happier if that was the reason. At least he would have had an explanation, but he wasn't going to press for the truth, not if Dylan didn't want to tell him.
"I... Look, you don't have to tell me and you don't have to come if you don't want to," James said. "As you said, it's just dinner with my family, and it's not like we don't see each other. We live together. So if whatever reason you don't want to come, I'm not going to get upset."
He bumped shoulders with Dylan. "If you do, decide to come, then we follow your plan." He grinned. "I do like the last part, though."
