"I don't want to be in a Muggle place. I like magic," he said. "I like not having to worry if I cast a spell. This is perfect. We can stick to the villa and be safe. I don't want people to know." He smacked Dylan's arm again. "I'm not a romantic. I'm practical."
James growled. He wanted to hurt Dylan for making fun of the situation, but it really was his own damn fault. He should have lied and hid, and he couldn't remember why he had done what he had. "You don't get it. I'm not worried about the bitching." Okay, he might have worried a little at the start, but then he hadn't really planned on telling anyone, so it wasn't a real worry.
"They all know Sirius, and Dad has basically given us our blessing already, and no we didn't ask. They will expect the relationship, but there is none." It was a lot simpler than people thought it was. They just liked to spend time together.
James banged his head against the cushions of the couch. "You're not helping. We aren't getting married, and I can't tell them we're going slow or they will send invitation for the engagement party or some other shit."
He looked up at Dylan frowning. "I do want children." He didn't see how that was related to Sirius, though. It's not like they were in a relationship.
