Lorcan bit his lip, and wrapped his arms around himself. He'd felt Dylan respond, start to kiss back, but to hear him say it wasn't a good idea hurt. "Right. Because you don't want me anymore." He pulled away and tucked himself in a chair, bringing his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them.
He smiled a little, trying to look on the bright side of things, namely, that Dylan was safe and healthy, or getting there. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?" He wanted to be helpful now that he was here, and staying busy would help with that as well.
"When can you go back to work?" He knew that Dylan would be concerned about that.
