"How very thoughtful of you," he said with a grin. "Especially since I look like I've been deathly ill for the last few weeks, oh wait, I was," he said with a grin. It felt good to hug her though, and he held her tight for a moment before letting go.
"Party, snogging and shagging, sounds fabulous," he said. "I need to get back to that. I got sidetracked by this relationship thing people keep talking about, really don't see what the fuss is all about" He grinned. "Really it's completely overrated and just sets you up for disappointment. I should have kept going the way you do."
"And yes, you do. So where does one set out to get a medal then?"
He chuckled at the soup, then nodded. "Soup has been my diet for a few days now, I think I can handle just a little bit more of it," he joked. "My stomach still needs to get used to real food, though it's getting there."
