She smiled at the ridiculously romantic gesture, and reached out with her free hand to brush his hair back from his face. "I love you," she said softly, moving even closer so they were snuggled together. "I love you so much James. I don't know what I would do without you."
She rolled her eyes, but couldn't help laughing a bit. "Just as long as it's not, I don't know, Firebird or Red Raven, I think I can handle it," she teased. Sirius had used to spend hours trying to come up with a nickname for her, each one more ridiculous than the last, while he and James were helping her learn about the Animagus transformation.
She arched a brow as she realized he was looking at a nearby Quidditch game, and put both her hands on his cheeks, making him look at her. "Don't even think about it Mister Potter," she said, in her best Minerva McGonagall impression. "Today is not about Quidditch. I can think of far more pleasurable things to be doing."
To prove her point, she moved swiftly and gracefully until she was straddling him, arms looped over his shoulders and cursing the way the robes bunched up between them. "Did you realize, this has been the longest we've gone without sex since Harry was just born?"
