"No," he answered, shaking his head. He hadn't planned on telling Severus any of that. In fact, he had no intention of saying any of that to anyone, but Severus had insulted him and he had responded with his usual arrogance.
"Bloody hell," he muttered, as he ran his fingers through his hair. "I don't want to do this with you, Severus. I don't want to start the verbal sparring we do so well. You had years after I died, I had a few two months when I had to catch up on forty years of history, and that's after spending months hiding and lying to everyone while trying to destroy him. Maybe for you what I did is nothing, something lost in time, for me it's very much my recent past. I don't react kindly to having it dismissed so easily."
