Harry reached out, pulling his son into his arms. "I didn't expect it to happen tomorrow," he said. "But do try." And maybe, just maybe he could find someone to share more than conversations with. Eventually. Someone to bring him out of his shell.
He smiled when Al spoke. "Good to know," he said. "I didn't think you did, but I'd still be more comfortable if you tried to make friends with people your own age." And even more comfortable if he didn't sound like a love sick puppy when he spoke of anyone not his own age.
"And get some sleep, you look exhausted," he added. "I've had one son whose health I've been worrying about, let's keep it that way, shall we?"
