"Oh, sweetheart," she whispered, and wrapped her arms around him, resting her cheek on the top of his head. She'd heard about Sirius and Jamie, and hadn't been sure what she thought about it. She didn't have a problem with them both being men--she'd known that Sirius liked both sexes for years--or the fact that technically Jamie was her grandson. But she'd thought it odd, and probably not a good idea to get involved in a sexual relationship. But that had been before she'd realized one important thing.
"You love him." She kissed the top of Sirius' head, rubbing her hands down his arms. "I can't tell you he's going to be all right, but we're all doing everything we can to help. And I know you don't like Severus, but he's excellent at what he does, and from all appearances, Stephen Nott and Bill Weasley are just the same. They'll find a way, if there's a way to be found."
