Dylan sat back as the two talked, halted both by a sudden boast of nausea threatening to send him to the loo and by the fact that this was something the two needed to work out together, and he wasn't a part of that.
He waited for them to finish, rolling his eyes at James when they did. He seemed to remember another conversation, though it seemed years gone, where he'd been the one to claim it was only sex. Or the wish for sex.
"And I was only dating Lori to get into his pants," he said sarcastically, though he was grinning for if he was right, Jamie was far deeper into this than he'd ever been with Lori. "You are such a romantic, whether you admit it or not. But it's okay, I won't tell anyone. I promise," he said with a teasing grin, echoing James own words from so long ago.
"Who knew you'd be the one ending up in a life long relationship?" he teased. "And here I thought that would be me."
