Remus shook his head gently. "No need to apologise."
He certainly couldn't fault the other man for his emotions. As he said, it was a rather extreme situation. Emotions were running high for everyone and it must be even more difficult for this man, who was a colleague, but not one of the family brood as it was. Remus had seen most everyone getting comfort from the rest of the family.
But not Vaisey. The man had been keeping to himself, which couldn't be all together healthy.
"I doubt anyone without my eyesight would have seen you sitting here in the dark," Remus assured him quietly. "And I can go, if you like. I'll forget what I saw as soon as I leave the room. I just thought you might appreciate some company."
