Dylan snorted. "No I didn't. I just said I'd train with you every day. I didn't specify a time of day," he retorted, smiling though it didn't matter. "I've always found that being awake helps with the training. Odd concept I know," he added with a wink.
He smiled a bit at the idea that they were all pups, but then he had to fight the emotions as Ronan went on. Not for the first time in his life, he wished he'd have the poker face his father did. "Thanks," he said, voice a bit thick. "It means a lot. I would have enjoyed it too. At least I went out with a bang right? I only wish we could have killed them too."
