Dylan smiled. "Good," he said. "I might just have to come back and haunt you otherwise," he said with a small grin.
He shuddered as he went on, rolling his eyes. "Or you know, we can move it to the afternoon when I'm actually awake and won't fall asleep," he said, though it was a moot point since it wouldn't be happening. It was nice to pretend sometimes though.
"I'm a pup, now am I?" he said with a grin. "I guess it's not too inappropriate, even if I can't transform at the moment." He couldn't help the slight lump in his throat as Ronan said he was proud of him. It wasn't something he got to hear often, and few cared enough to be proud at all. He smiled, pretending it wasn't there. "If I get better I'll do an even better one," he said. "Save you from whatever replacement you could find."
He nodded as Ronan went on. "Just don't feel a need to wait for me, yeah? I won't be pissed if you catch them without me."
