Re: Sandy / James / Dylan
"You have a lot more common sense than anyone in your family," James said, smiling. "Of all of them put together even."
He nodded. "If he comes, I'll tell him myself, but if I don't get the chance I want him to know that I'm not angry with him, and that I love him, even if he's a dork." He smiled. "He's probably with Albus in some library, looking for some obscure reference on this type of hexes."
James patted Sandy's thigh. "He's just got out of school." Not that it had been a problem for himself, but Lori was different. "He went too quickly." He looked at Dylan, smiling. "Both of them went a little too quickly. I knew that it wasn't something Lori should have known; Dylan didn't." He chuckled at Sandy. "He's going to get hurt, because he doesn't want a quick fuck. If he did, then he'd never get hurt, but relationships hurt, but they are also amazingly good, or can be. So let him find his own way." As he talked he couldn't help but think about his discussion with Sirius that morning. It was killing him to see Sirius so sad, but he couldn't imagine not having spent the past few weeks without Sirius. "He'll surprise you."
