Re: James, Sirius, Albus
James rolled his eyes at his brother. He was such a dork. "There's days that you are able to prove why you weren't in Gryffindor without saying a word," he said, not masking the affection in his voice.
He looked at Sirius. "You are a Gryffindor. Be nice to the Ravenclaw, at least this one. I might be sick, but I still know how to use a wand. Just ask Snape if you don't believe me."
He shifted, so he could rest against Sirius and look at Albus with minimal movement. He didn't care that Albus was watching; he reached for Sirius' hand and rested their joined hands on his stomach.
"Your brother feels like crap, Al. Why do you think I'm home?" he said. "Scorpius said that you wanted to find that cure so he won't die, and by the way, thanks for thinking of me," he said, chuckling, "but you can stop now," he added softly. "We're all worse and I'm the one who feels best."
