"Oh I agree, but it's something about him and James and Sirius. It's... weird to say the least. It's like they are all children fighting over the last candy. He's also an arse," he said, grinning.
He reached for the pastries, picking a cannolo. "I'm just saying that the norm isn't bad if you find it. You don't have some of the reasons I have to distrust people... and you're not hexed. Maybe you should consider that there are other ways."
He rested his head against the couch. "I'm not saying that things have to change because of him. They have to change because you want them to change and if you don't want them to, then they shouldn't."
He took another bite. He thought about wife and Sirius and chuckled. "No, I'm not getting married. I told you I'd have to trust someone long enough and I doubt it would happen. Unless it's you, but we really would make a lousy couple." He reached for his tea and took a sip. "I don't know... sometime people just click, and if you find that, then you shouldn't turn your back on it for the hell of it."
