Scorpius laughed himself. A lot of people had said that Snape had this stare that could freeze time, but he liked the man. "I don't really want to jump off a bridge but I suppose that is more fun than the cruciatus. I also don't like a lot of blood. I'd kind of like to hold it off before it gets here. I am a firm believer that my blood needs to stay in my body."
"So it is a Serpentine curse?" he asked, hopeful that Snape had found something and didn't just treat symptoms. "Are there changes to mine then?" He had to respect the man's talent.
"I know the other two are wankers, but I really appreciate you being here," he told him. "My father spoke of you often and it was always good. I'm decent at potions too, though probably not as good as he is." He didn't know why he was talking all of a sudden, but he was trying to shake off the nerves of what was to come.
