RP: Charlie & Gideon Who: Charlie Wesley, Gideon Prewett Where: The Burrow When: November 21, 2024 - afternoon Rating/Warnings: Language (likely) Summary: Charlie has an interesting chat with his Uncle (Uncle - that still boggles his mind)
He still hadn't procured a place closer to the Burrow to move to, which Charlie kept putting off. He knew he should now that Voldemort was back, but Charlie also knew why he wasn't. George had said it right, which pissed off Charlie more than anything. Yeah, he was a coward when it came to getting in close with his family. Or anyone for that matter.
Though, he had noticed getting along well with his Uncle - his mum's brother, now back from the dead. Gideon, who he had only heard about from stories from his mum. Gideon came back much younger than Charlie, and it was odd not to think of the man as one of Charlie's nephews instead. At least the bloke didn't expect him to call him Uncle.
Hell, even Charlie himself didn't care if his nieces and nephews just called him 'Charlie' instead of Uncle.
When he arrived at the Burrow to collect the basket of goodies that his mum said she had for him, he saw Gideon sitting on a fence and munching away on a bright green apple.
"Usually you can find a bloke outside around here to get away from mum's fussing," Charlie said good-naturedly to Gideon, approaching the younger wizard. "Good to see you, mate. How've you been?"
