"Hmmmm, yes that doesn't sound like anyone else I know," she teased. Minerva then laughed. "Oh, yes I'm sure I'll be exactly what Sirius expects of the granddaughter of Alice and Frank Longbottom. Only, not."
She chuckled, thinking about all this family that Jamie had back around him - blood family and extended because of their relationship with Harry before their deaths. "Gods, muggle movies couldn't come up with a plot or premise as fucked up as what's going on with these people coming back to life," she murmured.
Minerva made a sound of frustration in the back of her throat. "I can tell this outing I'm supposed to go on with Ben and his man-candy is going to be just peachy then," she told Jamie. "Yeah, I got an owl from Ben. He's setting up a double date for the four of us. I told him I'd go if he didn't call it a date. Hopefully he'll stick to his word that he won't."
She got quiet then, thinking about Jamie's words. Then, as if someone snapped her fingers, Minerva sat up and gave Jamie a bright smile.
"Don't you worry about me. I'm a big girl; can take care of myself and all that. So, you just concentrate on getting better so we can go out and celebrate because I miss you, yeah?"
Minerva gave Jamie a hug and another kiss on the mouth before standing up. "And I've already got ideas for Christmas which include you. So there. Now, before I take off can I get you anything?"
