RP: Can We Talk?
Who: Angie, Mona, Alex, and George
When: November 17, 2024
Where: The Meadows
Warnings: none
Summary: It's Mona's turn to explain.
Status: Complete

It had been a few days since the fiasco that had rocked the Weasley house, almost a week, and things were finally settling down a bit. There hadn't been much talking, but that wasn't anything unusual, and with the children spending most of their time in their rooms, Angie had a lot of quiet after school.

Sometimes it was too quiet though. So before George got home from the shop, dinner simmering on the stove, Angie wiped her hands and left the kitchen, heading to Mona's room on the other end of the floor. "Mona?" she asked, knocking on the door. "Could I come in?"

She and George had been so focused on helping Alex and making sure he stayed out of trouble that they had nearly ignored Mona's roll in what had happened. Angie wanted to get down to the real truth. She wanted to hear it from all sides for herself before they had Mona's parents over to decide her future with their family.

She didn't want the girl to leave. She loved Mona like a daughter, but she really couldn't believe that she would play a part in what Alex had been up to. Maybe she was just as confused as Angie had been when George had his problem There was only one way to find out.
