Re: A Word with Harry
Harry looked at him. "I understand that, but you must forgive me if I have doubts on if highly sensitive information is what we should be giving him," he said.
There was something odd about seeing someone you'd always trusted work against your wishes, because Harry could see that it was happening. He gave in too easily and he knew that Dumbledore would not be speaking to him, but directly to his son. And James would agree, because it was not what he wanted and right now that was probably reason enough.
He could pretend not to see it however, for now, buy time for his son, for there was no way his son would be able to handle it without collapsing at this time.
"But you're right, we have time. First we need a cure, because Jamie will do no one any good if he collapses."
"There is something we can give Regulus, however," he suggested. "His house. Your spells are impossible to break, but surely you can lift them. Seeing as it's the thing Regulus wants the most surely that would count for something. Sirius has mentioned that he and Regulus have talked of renovating the place, making it liveable. If you want him closer, there is a good way in."
He nodded, then smiled. "Some of them, yes," he said with a smirk. "They did show up in the battle at Hogwarts," he admitted. "But their situation has not changed since. I am not sure what they would be willing to do, but trying is always a good thing."
