Re: A Word with Harry
"I would not be alive had I not mastered it," he answered. "Did I not tell you on the night of your return? I won it - without even knowing so - of Draco Malfoy. More snatching his wand out of his hand than a duel, but it did the trick. Apparently the wand is not fond of casting spells on its master."
He nodded. "I am. I find myself rather attached to it, I'd rather not go without it." Voldemort had found a new wand once, he'd do so again.
Harry nearly groaned, because that's what James needed. A way to learn to hide things better. He refrained though, but instead shook his head. "No," he said. "He's not trained, not in being an Occlumens and not in resisting the Imperius curse. I know he needs training in both, but not while he's still so ill. He is safe where he is, as long as he is there, as long as he's persuaded to stay there." He smiled. "Once he is well, then you can train him, should you so wish."
"How about someone who understands curses? Because we have that. And we have someone who understands medicine. As for Dark Magic? The Malfoys should be trying, I can't see them not trying. I doubt anyone in our family would know all that much about Dark Magic. Stephen Nott might, but then that's my prejudice against his father talking."
Harry nodded. "I'll send you word if we kill him. If he's captured I'll retrieve it myself, though you might want to let me know how to avoid that particular problem," he said nodding towards Dumbledore's hand.
