"Couldn't, or don't want to?" Jake asked, raising an eyebrow. He didn't think there was anything wrong is suggesting or offering the space for Regulus, but if the man didn't want to...maybe he thought Jake was suggesting something more than what he really meant.
"You'd have your own room and I wouldn't impose on your privacy," he said, and then smiled.
"Ah, Sirius. Must be tiring worrying about what trouble he will get into all the time."
Standing in front of the bed with Regulus, he crossed his arms and looked at the wall decoration above the headboard. Jake chuckled.
"Yes, well...I never thought of it that way, but since you mention it I suppose it does have a multiple purpose other than looking good."
He turned and sat on the end of the bed, looking up at Regulus as the wizard talked.
"Everytime I tried to get to you at the bloody party, someone would come up and talk about work or St. Mungo's or what's going on with the Potter/Malfoy hex situation. I left early too. I'm sorry...I did want to meet your brother, it was just a bloody zoo that night."
