Barnabas had been surprised when he'd seen the application. At first he thought it was a joke of some kind, and was ready to blast Peterson in the application department, but a quick memo to the man ensured him that it was real and Peterson didn't know what to do with it. It was hardly going through the normal training route.
He called his secretary and asked her to send Mr. Prewett in. When the man came in, it was hard to reconcile the stories he had heard about the Prewett twins and the boy that was standing in front of him. He could be his son.
"Sit," Barnabas said, looking at the man. "So you want to come back, is that it? Do you realise that things have changed?"
