"I'd like to see you convince me that there's a reason I shouldn't, particularly when you're not around," James retorted to Craig. "Honestly, all you lot. No respect for your elders." Though he wasn't entirely sure he was 'elder' than all of them. He was born earlier; that ought to count for something.
"Now Siri," he went on, "you may have given me a reason not to, but you're going to have to come up with a better one. As you can see, being killed is only a temporary inconvenience for me. Been there, done that."
Not that he would court actual death counting on a second resurrection, but he didn't exactly believe Sirius would literally kill him, either.
