Remus laughed warmly, oddly pleased by the words. At the rate he was going, Harry wasn't going to have to say another word about the teaching. It seemed every time Remus talked to someone the right age to attend Hogwarts, he himself started talking like a professor!
"Thank you, Alex. That's good to hear." He tried to look stern, but had a feeling he failed miserably. Remus had rarely managed anything but pleasant expressions and friendly looks unless he was enraged the likes of which it was unlikely for this nephew of Harry's to ever incite. "But none of this Slytherin nonsense, eh? I'll agree he was a rat who acted completely without honor. But, his house affiliation has little to do with it."
After all, hadn't Peter been a Gryffindor and look how much honor that rat had not possessed!
"Mm, I understand that need. I like going off on my own, too. Helps to think. Although James and Sirius will tell you it's brooding, not thinking." Remus chuckled ruefully, smiling to show he truly did understand and didn't take any offense. "I've no idea what it's like to grow up with so many relatives! It was just me and my parents growing up until I went to school."
