"Unfair, that, hexing you from behind." Shaking his head, Remus wondered if Slytherin was ever going to learn to fight fair. He had never had the issue with Slytherin as a house his friends had. But, Remus couldn't help noticing the personalities that were drawn to that house seemed to be the ones least inclined towards fairness. It might not be a just assessment, but there it was.
"Never throw a hex without thinking, though," he corrected gently, unaware he was really even doing so. His own innate need to protect seemed to translate into guidance in some cases. "You have to be aware of all your surroundings and know exactly what you're doing or you risk doing more harm than good. And, you don't strike me as a young man who would be happy with himself if he accidentally injured an innocent because he wasn't thinking.
"Although, letting yourself be a target for his hexes isn't an option either. Just be careful."
