Leaving the others behind, Remus had done exactly as he said he was going to do -- find a good tree in which to climb up and view the game from the branches. There were a few such trees near the edge of the field where they were playing. Remus probably could have opted to join the rest of the "parents" watching from the floating platform, but that would have been too close for his eyesight to follow the action.
Settling on a tree, Remus jumped to grab a higher branch and hauled himself up.
Which was when he saw the young man already in the tree, reading quietly and sitting almost as still as any werewolf Remus knew.
"Sorry, didn't see this tree was already taken. You must be Alex," he continued, noting the black hair and Glam Rock look just as Lily had described them. "Mind if I join you? I can find another tree for myself if you'd rather read in solitude."
