"Yes, Severus was," Draco agreed with a solemn smile. "And we may yet see him again. I dare say that if your appearance hasn't scared Voldemort to tears, surely the combination of you and Severus would."
Malfoy rested his chin on his hands and closed his eyes. "No one seems to have any idea of how the curse operates. I left my wife and son weeks ago to scour every known contact I could for help with the matter. Not only did I come up empty handed, but my absence has pissed my family off to no end. My son needed a cure and needed his father, and I failed him in both regards."
