Albus was pleasantly surprised when he received the note. He had hoped that the boy wouldn't be a murder, but he'd not hoped that he'd be brave enough to approach him. Maybe they really did sort them too early.
He followed the house elf to the upper floor, and entered the library with a smile on his face. It was always much nicer to start a conversation on a good note.
"Draco, how good to see you again," he said, as he approached the young man. "And yet, you are not the boy you once were." He stopped in front of him. "A grown man with his family. I'm sorry to hear about your boy."
