"Spoilsport," he said, pouting for effect. "Fuck that, I'll decide where we're going and move into my flat whilst you're figuring this curse out. Are you thinking before or after Christmas?" he asked, curious to know how long Stephen thought it would take to cure whatever this was. "Will they still be alive by then?" he asked, voicing another thought.
"Department of Mysteries? Watch out, your father might trap you in there forever and make you work for him," he said with a small snort. "You're going to be so unbearably smug when you have this all figured out, aren't you?"
Azriel laughed into the kiss, his eyes bright when he looked at Stephen. "I know it is. You were kind of the same at school when you couldn't figure something out straight away with your homework but it's much more intensified now. It's... Weird that you haven't changed in that respect."
